Dopamine

My new project Dopamine explores the idea of looking at life from a new perspective. After the recent passing of a friend, I found it difficult to get my head around how short life really is, and it left me feeling negative about everything. After some time passed, I came across dopamine decor trending on social media , this can be vibrant colours, patterns and funky ornaments you add to your home to create a mood boosting, positive space.

I fell in love with this aesthetic and decided to immerse myself in this lifestyle change, I re-styled my bedroom to feel more bright and colourful as well as my wardrobe. “Always look up” is my favourite metaphor meaning “changing ones perspective, finding beauty in the world, and appreciating life, especially after overcoming trauma”. I hope my project helps others find what makes them happy and to appreciate the little things in life.
